Program Overview

The Existanz Winter Intensive offers a transformative 10-day training experience designed for dedicated dancers interested in strengthening both their concert dance technique and their commercial versatility. Our curriculum supports the development of a well-rounded, technically grounded, and artistically confident dancer.

Dancers train daily with professional teaching artists working across ballet, contemporary, jazz, commercial work, musical theatre, and industry-specific disciplines. The program includes technique classes, artistic development, audition preparation, and professional practice.

Daily Schedule

January 2–11, 2025
Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM daily
The intensive includes:

  • Jazz / Commercial Styles

  • Stretch & Strength

  • Industry-Focused Workshops

  • Audition Prep + Professional Etiquette

  • Rehearsal & Choreographic Development

To best serve our students, the Winter Intensive will be held at two professional dance spaces:

Tuition

  • Early Registration: $350

  • Regular Registration: $450

Existanz is a nonprofit organization — tuition supports program expenses and compensates our teaching artists.

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarship positions are available for dancers with financial need.

Who Can Register

Dancers ages 12–18 who are committed to training, open to correction, and eager to grow artistically and technically.

Faculty

Full faculty biographies will be announced soon. All instructors are working professional dancers, educators, and performers across multiple areas of the field, including:

How to Register

1. Complete the Registration Form
Include dancer information, emergency contacts, and training background.

2. Submit Tuition Payment
Instructions will appear at the end of the form. Your spot is confirmed once payment is received.

3. Check Your Email
You will be sent:

  • Studio locations

  • Daily reminders

  • What to bring

  • Dress code & policies

    Spaces are limited to ensure personalized attention and professional-level feedback.

Refund & Attendance Policy

  • Tuition is nonrefundable unless the program is canceled by Existanz.

  • Absences do not reduce tuition cost.

  • Dancers must arrive warmed up, prepared, and on time for all classes and rehearsals.
